The Archetype of Grey

A complete renewal, a story of continuity. The Tiziana Fausti store in Bergamo is transformed, finding in a single shade of grey the guiding thread that unites spaces, materials, and functions in a coherent and harmonious language.

Project: Arch. Silvia Guerrini
Year: 2025
Site: Bergamo

A fresh, measured shade of grey, not too dark, becomes the foundation of a sensorial experience where neutrality is a choice, not an absence.
Walls, furnishings, and display totems all take on the same hue, while a soft, high-pile carpet underfoot welcomes each step, creating a tactile contrast to the smooth surfaces of the furniture.

The floor seems to rise upward in some display niches, where the carpet wraps around thick shelves like a tongue extending from below to embrace the space.
Even the display cubes, covered in the same material, are stacked in geometric compositions, shaping visual volumes and new focal points.

In this monochrome setting, the merchandise becomes the true protagonist, vibrant, colorful, luminous.
The project thus becomes a vast neutral container that celebrates the chromatic and material diversity of the products, allowing every detail to emerge.

The same concept extends throughout each area, from the ground floor to the mezzanine and the first-floor corners, in a visual continuum that redefines the store’s identity.

There is also a sustainable, quiet yet tangible dimension: existing furniture was restored, repainted, or covered to reduce waste and enhance what was already there.

An immersive and discreet environment, where one feels as though swimming in a sea of soft grey.
Among the most evocative details, the belt conveyor left intentionally visible on the first floor recalls the behind-the-scenes world the living, operational soul of the space.
And finally, a wall of glass giogali, transparent and interlocked, filters the light with delicacy.

Within this context, a true artistic gesture seals the project and its poetry:
neon writings by artist Marcello Maloberti illuminate some of the windows and the entrance wall, bringing fragments of language and light that complete the experience, transforming the store into a place of fascination and narrative.

Oak Soul

In this new project, the space transforms into a story of harmony and modernity.
A skillful use of materials defines the spaces: the warmth of wood, the lightness of white, and the depth of black intertwine in a contemporary balance.

Project: Gianluca Tessaro Interior Designer
Year: 2025
Site: Ponteranica

Materials, light, and volumes become essential, and every detail contributes to a sense of fluidity and lightness. The kitchen, both essential and functional, opens naturally onto the living area and entrance through a corridor lined with thermo-treated oak paneling.

The paneling becomes the cornerstone of the project, enveloping the space in thermo-treated oak, chosen in a medium tone—not too dark nor too light—capable of balancing an already bright environment dominated by light colors. The kitchen, with pearl gray shades, is embraced by a deep-toned Dekton countertop with subtle light veins and features a central island designed for more informal and dynamic moments.

The dining table, solid and welcoming, custom-designed and crafted in detail, becomes a place of gathering and conviviality, while the living area is intended for more intimate and relaxing moments. The entire living space is lined with paneling, whose intensity warms the environment, giving it a more masculine and refined feel, in a story of continuity and harmony.

Anthracite slats shape perspectives, partially obscure the view, and act as a unifying motif, marking transitions and creating subtle divisions between spaces. The paneling also conceals service areas and access to the sleeping area, maintaining visual fluidity and coherence.

In the bathroom, thermo-treated oak returns as a connecting element in a custom-made column cabinet with internal shelves and space for the washing machine, combining functionality with elegance.

This renovation is not just an aesthetic intervention, but a new way of living the home: a space that welcomes, breathes, and tells a lifestyle story defined by beauty, functionality, and harmony.

Sensorial Experience of Design

A Milanese refuge where design meets emotion. A project that becomes a sensorial experience, open to anyone wishing to embrace it. Project: Studio Locatelli Partners Year: 2024 Site: Milano

In the heart of Milan, opposite the historic Palazzo del Senato, a project takes shape-one that engages with the city’s architectural identity and contributes to an elegant, coherent urban patchwork.

Just steps from Via Montenapoleone, in a building meticulously renovated with sartorial care, a collection of exclusive apartments has been created for those who seek not just a place to stay, but a deeper immersion in the Milanese way of life. Here, interior design becomes narrative, and each floor a chapter of its own.

The five suites share the same layout: a spacious living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two balconies. Yet it’s in the details that each floor reveals its soul. Finishes and furnishings shift in tone, following the natural light and creating a chromatic palette that grows more intense with each level.

The custom-designed kitchens on each floor are dressed in colors that evoke emotion: cactus green, sky blue, blush pink, rust red, and aqua green. Soft or bold tones, paired with interiors either in harmony or contrast, shape spaces where functionality is enhanced by visual delight. Materials invite touch, while maintaining durability over time.
In the junior bathrooms, time is reflected in the details.

Five different wood finishes—from natural and thermo-treated oak to maple, mahogany, and glossy lacquer—reinterpret a refined vintage style that converses with the present without nostalgia.
Each wood essence welcomes daily rituals with a new depth; every material choice invites one to slow down, to inhabit time. Maple also appears in a large library filled with curated books, inviting quiet moments of reading.

This project is an ode to Italian design: every floor is furnished with iconic objects and carefully chosen materials. The interiors evoke tradition and reinterpret it within a contemporary vision of living. And the view over central Milan is simply priceless.

Industrial Romance

An industrial-style apartment meets the romantic soul of the furnishings, resulting in an elegant and bold aesthetic.

Project: Architude
Year: 2023
Site: Milan

In the context of urban transformation, from a former industrial area to a residential neighborhood in ever-evolving Milan, a home with a strong character takes shape. Here, industrial materials and refined colors intertwine with elements featuring a soft texture and vibrant spirit.
This is how the kitchen, clad in black waxed iron, comes to life, embracing a central island with a natural oak snack counter and a metallic-effect worktop. The black iron, initially a defining feature of the cabinet doors, also transforms into a structural frame for the wall units, which feature acid-etched glass for an ethereal, elusive effect.
A more natural and romantic essence emerges in the curved oak slat stools and wooden bottle racks, which double as storage for various objects. Abstract paintings, pop prints, and decorative items—including colorful vases and an artistic lamp—create an almost oxymoronic contrast with the furnishings.
In the living area, a red and blue Cimento bookcase with black waxed iron shelves is set against the white wall, extending up to the ceiling with exposed wooden beams. The wood from the kitchen reappears in the living room with an antique table, paired with electric blue chairs.
The bedroom also embraces blue as the dominant hue. A feature wallpaper defines the headboard wall, while a matte lacquered bed frame and a built-in chest of drawers in Klein Blue engage in dialogue with the dark parquet flooring that unifies the apartment, except for the bathrooms. In the master bathroom, accessible through a hinged door integrated into the built-in wardrobe, the raw industrial feel of the countertop meets the gray resin flooring, where an elegant matte lacquered Prussian Blue vanity unit stands out. Next to it, a shower in extra-clear glass with burnished fixtures adds a refined touch.
The guest bathroom follows the same choice of resin flooring but in a deep wine shade, with some references in the living area. The same color is echoed on the back wall, from which a mirror panel with built-in lacquered shelves subtly stands apart. The anteroom is equipped with a laundry area, opting for an all-white color scheme with double-depth wall-mounted cabinets.

The Parisian Vie en Rouge

In the heart of Paris, a small studio stands as an architectural poem, where every detail dances to the rhythm of passionate and decisive shades of red.

Project: Studio Locatelli Partners

Site: Paris

At the entrance, a spacious square-shaped area welcomes with light colors and wooden profiles, serving as a large wardrobe supporting both function and a library. The entrance doors, in harmony with the style of the cabinets, promise a complete immersion into the environment.

Once beyond the threshold into the living area, an unexpected panorama unfolds before the observer. Soft shapes and vibrant colors paint the picture, with an essential kitchen reflecting in a glossy, gray-shaped door, providing access to a clean and geometric bathroom. Wall-mounted cabinets, invisible behind a mirror, reveal the ingenious utilization of space.

The curves of the kitchen and bathroom door gracefully align with a rounded black iron table, embracing the pillar on two sides while remaining airy and light. The living area, with red cabinets and pink interiors, harmoniously merges with textured gray walls on a floor with rosy tones, interrupted by a full-height curtain in dusty blue.

This curtain, like a stage curtain, divides a hybrid environment that combines the living and sleeping areas, characterized by a long niche sofa, a comfortable and tranquil refuge. Pull-out low drawers and upper cabinets with folding doors, a subtle nod to concealed organization, create visual harmony. The contrast of an indigo blue sofa, transformable into a bed, complements the satin steel element, resembling a shield amid a carpet of roses, providing a distinctive textural contrast to the room. Closing the curtain transforms the sleeping area into an intimate and obscured space, offering an atmosphere of total privacy.

Experience La Vie en Rouge – the life in red – of this Parisian studio, where design melds with emotion, creating a visually and sensorially unique experience, a space infused with passion and creativity.
