In an urban apartment of a young couple, bold colors and natural materials blend with elegance and determination.

In an urban apartment of a young couple, bold colors and natural materials blend with elegance and determination.

On the entrance side, a natural oak top embraces the kitchen island, enlivening its visual rhythm.
At first it remains suspended in the connection between the two parts, while at the end of the island it then flows to the ground on a parquet of the same color range.
The result is a visual line that restores the sense of continuity and movement, accompanying the development of the kitchen in a natural and fluid way.
The worktop in recomposed marble effect illuminates the matt anthracite gray lacquered kitchen.
The glossy lacquer of the wall units accompanies the clarity of the top and gives further brightness, while the wood delicately introduces itself into the overall vision with naturalness and elegance.
To make the most of the airy environment of the open space, the kitchen follows a linear development, but at the same time extremely functional.
The central island block is accessible on three sides by alternating the various components according to the main use.
On the inside, in fact, the intention is to better facilitate the preparation of meals, with drawers of different heights containing kitchen utensils and a built-in oven.
On the side facing the living area, on the other hand, it is conviviality that establishes the development of the various elements.
The dining table thus becomes the protagonist, becoming an element incorporated into the kitchen island in moments of rest and autonomous during use.
Among the advantages of choosing a table partially annexed to the kitchen is certainly the possibility of exploiting its extended dimensions according to needs.
In fact, if in its rest position about 60cm are absorbed by the depth of the kitchen and there is space for 4 people, released from the fixed structure it is possible to obtain up to 8 seats in total.
Depending on the amount of surface needed, it is therefore possible to choose how much to extract the table without having to exploit the complex opening mechanisms of extendable tables.
To increase the work surface, which can be easily used as a chopping board, an extractable surface is placed in the flap door above the oven.
A multifunctional kitchen, compact and transformable according to needs, in which the soft combination of colors and natural materials chase each other in the living area and in the other rooms of the house.

The furniture in the living area is structured around the theme of chromatic and material contrast between the clear lacquered structure and the flamed black iron lid, which recalls the anthracite lacquer of the kitchen.
On the top, a bioethanol fireplace, and a bookcase with essential lines also in black iron complete the corner of the living room.

In the master bathroom, the dark brown of the tiles is echoed in the large, shaped cabinet with drawers, open compartments, and retractable doors.

The service bathroom, in neutral shades of cream, houses a cabinet under the sink combined with a storage unit with shelves, also shaped on the side pillar at the entrance.

The sleeping area is characterized by a suspended and illuminated bed in the lower part which is wrapped in a hybrid piece of furniture. This serves as both a headboard and a bedside table, storage unit and side chest of drawers.
The light gray paint reveals the grain of the underlying wood.

The lighting design of the entire apartment makes it very flexible and allows to recreate different emotional scenarios.
The punctual lights above the snack top, the LEDs under the wall units and the top and the flame of the fireplace make it very intimate, while the lights on the walls and in the rooms make it brighter and livelier.

A Loft with an Attractive Design

Lights, materials, lines and volumes create a harmonious contrast in this attractively designed Loft. Dark colors stand out on light walls and bright objects capture the attention within the space.

Entering the loft, warm and articulated lights outline the ceiling of the living area and with a hug they join the straight and gritty lines of the kitchen. The lighting also emerges from the walls, which house racks embedded in stoneware slabs with a Lasa marble effect have luminous shelves. In the center, an imposing electric blue sofa overlooks a bronze lacquered metal effect TV cabinet. This is characterized by two side drawers and a recessed front surface that hides all the electronic devices. The inclined table legs are also in the same finish, supporting an oval top in Sahara Noir and the whole kitchen. This one has dark bases and columns that match a very thin light top of the same material as the living room walls. The kitchen is structured in three parallel volumes: a base under the window, a central island with a snack top in Sahara Noir and a full-height column consisting of ovens and refrigerators. On the side, overlooking the living room, an exposed cellar characterized by bright shelves acts as a return light. In fact, along the same line of sight, there is a framework-cabinet that recalls the constructivist Red Wedge by El Lissitzky, also illuminated. In the sleeping area, a central equipped corridor hides a small closet and leads to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom of the loft is characterized by a luminous background panel covered in the same stoneware as the living area. Stylistic references are also found in the intersecting luminous lines that divide the slab. A wardrobe with internal shelves covered in velvet, drawers with dedicated compartments, smoked glass and illuminated side racks remains avalaible on the right side of the room. In front of the bed, the bathroom has a sculpture-washbasin, made of a white travertine block, combined with a metallic bronze lacquered cabinet with drawers. The two bedside tables on the side of the bed also have the same finish. The service bathroom follows the same characteristics as the master bathroom, while the guest bedroom is characterized by a bridge structure in gray tones. Hangers alternate with shelves, and, on the sides, pull-out shelves are useful for supporting small objects. Even in the sleeping area, the skilful use of lights and materials makes the loft environment captivating and hospitable.

Essential lines for the Tiziana Fausti store

Tiziana Fausti chooses a set-up for her fashion and luxury clothing an interior with essential lines. Bright profiles and chromatic contrasts underline the delicate and elegant design lines.

Project: Marco Costanzi Architects

The choice of essential lines represents the stylistic firm of the layout for the Tiziana Fausti boutique, designed by architect Marco Costanzi. The access to the women’s department takes place from the arcades overlooking the Sentierone di Bergamo. The ground floor houses the accessory collection between essential displays and luminous frames. Mirrored stainless steel surfaces, glass shelves and LED strip lighting hidden in the edges are the best showcase for the luxury products. The exhibitors emphasize the verticality with full-height elements, which fill the large ceiling, and with display panels and its luminous profile that emerge from the side walls. The visual lightness obtained by the play of reflections and transparencies finds an elegant chromatic contrast with the main furnishing volumes. These are recognized by the glossy black finish that gives a strong stylistic imprint.

The staircase with glass handrail leads to the mezzanine floor of the retail space which communicates with the men’s department. Even in these environments’, linearity is the stylistic signature of the project. It is also visible in the repetition of the false ceiling’s elements that create a visual rhythm. The backlight acts as a skylight in order to uniformly illuminate the environment. The men’s department that develops from this intermediate floor is characterized by a black ceiling maintained by the artistic installation China Red by Flavio Favelli, which was created in 2010 and recently removed. The display elements once again prefer regular shapes with essential profiles, underlined by the elegant contrast between the black of the displays and the neutral tones of the walls and floor carpeting.

Italian customed furnishings blend with Vietnamese taste and tradition in this luxury Penthouse in Hanoi. A luminous crystal heart fits between the three panoramic levels of a prestigious skyscraper on West Lake.

A crystal heart with polished steel profiles fits into the rooms on three levels of this Vietnamese Penthouse. A luminous heart capable of trapping light and external nature to bring it inside this luxurious home. This is the fulcrum of the CLS Architects project, around which the various rooms of the house are placed. A combination of customed furnishings scrupulously made by our wood craftsmen and traditional Vietnamese construction techniques. An eclectic environment in which the western and eastern worlds find their harmony between highly distinctive design pieces and essential furnishings.

So here is an outdoor table in a terrace with bamboo cane in black lacquered wood that shows in its center a glossy red lacquered star. The same material is also used in the full-height library with rigorous geometric lines. The leather upholstery of the doors in the bedroom with treated brass inserts has a warmer impact. A constant experimentation on the finishes and related treatments that required attention and preciousness in detailing each piece of furniture.
